The Town of Koshkonong is located in Jefferson County, Wisconsin, and is adjacent to the communities of Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, Cold Spring, Whitewater, and Milton. We are a growing community of 3400 residents.
**GARBAGE SERVICE UPDATES**
Town of Koshkonong residents please be advised that your new trash/recycling service will start with Badgerland Disposal the week of January 2, 2017. Monday January 2 is a holiday therefore garbage service will be delayed by one day that week.
Advanced Disposal will collect their carts starting the week of January 2, 2017. Please have both the trash and recycling bins out at the street by Monday morning.

Remember the survey that was available on election day? Over 800 residents took the time to complete the questionnaire regarding issues affecting the town. Our board supervisor Stacy Kutz has put together the results indicating how residents feel about town resources, town expenses and future road projects. You can view the results by clicking here.
TOWN OF KOSHKONONG NOTICE OF SPRING ELECTION APRIL 4, 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at an election to be held in the Town of Koshkonong on Tuesday April 4, 2017, the following offices are to be elected for a term of two years:
A Town Board Chairman, incumbent Bill Burlingame
A Town Board Supervisor I, incumbent Hugh McMahon
A Town Board Supervisor II, incumbent Jim Brandenburg
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the first day to circulate nomination papers is Thursday December 1, 2016 and the final day for filing nomination papers in the office of the Town Clerk is 5:00 pm on Tuesday January 3, 2017. Nomination papers are available from the Town Clerk.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that if a primary is necessary, the primary election will be held on Tuesday February 17, 2017.

TOWN OF KOSHKONONG PLAN COMMISSION OPENING
The Town of Koshkonong has an open position available on the Plan Commission. Responsibilities include attending the monthly meeting; reviewing zoning and use permit requests and an overall commitment to overseeing the use of the land in the town. The Plan Commission meets on the first Wednesday of each month in the town hall at 7pm. This position pays a monthly meeting per diem and mileage. Interested persons should submit a letter of interest to the town board by December 30. Please call the town clerk with any questions, 920- 563-4510.
