*****TOWN OF KOSHKONONG RESIDENTS*****

NEW TRASH/RECYCLING SERVICE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2017

Starting January 1, 2017 Town of Koshkonong residents will be getting new garbage/recycling service from Badgerland Disposal. New carts will be delivered to all residents and service will begin with normal pickup starting the week of January 1st. For most residents service days will remain the same, however because January 1 is a holiday, pickup service that week will be delayed by one day. A calendar of service will be included with the delivery of the carts.

In addition to providing excellent service, Badgerland Disposal will also be providing a bulk pickup day once per month, including appliance, tires, batteries and bulk oil pickups. The town board believes Badgerland Disposal will better serve the residents at a lower cost per household. Residents will also retain use of the Fort Atkinson compost site.

Badgerland Disposal is locally owned and operated and will have a 24/7 contact available to all residents. New, lighter, side loading trucks will be more environmentally friendly and easier on town roads, and reduce blowing trash. The town will work closely with the contractor to help reduce service issues and streamline customer concerns.

Look for the display on Election Day and watch the town website and Facebook page for upcoming information.
